We will be staying near Potrero, on the northern Pacific coast in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica in a small, family-run boutique hotel called Libélula (“dragonfly” in Spanish).

Libélula is tucked away, a short 10-minute walk from the beach, in the middle of a small, rural fishing town with numerous beaches and coves along the coast within walking or biking distance. The area is known for beautiful sunrises and sunsets, horseback riding, and a quiet, tranquil vibe. While this area receives less rain than other parts of Costa Rica, we will be there right in the middle of the “green season” which means lush vegetation, sunny days, and temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s.

Alyce Cristina Vallejo

Alyce Cristina Vallejo is a student of movement and self discovery. She has trained in Ballet and Modern styles of dance for 20+ years. Alyce found yoga in 2008 to compliment her dance training, personal life, and the possibility to cultivate awareness of her own intuitive power. As Alyce’s yoga practice increased, her life opened up to the benefits physically, mentally and emotionally. She leaped to complete her first 22-hour certification in Grounded Kids Yoga in June of 2015, then in the winter of 2016 she added her 200-hour yoga certification at Yoga One in Charlotte, NC. With the combination of studying and practicing movement in both Yoga and Dance, Alyce has discovered a priceless value and guide for her life… The Power and freedom of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Gaining access to unconditional self love has provided Alyce the ability to live, act, work and play in her most authentic and powerful self.

Alyce is the program manager for Kids Yoga and Mommy and Mini at Yoga One. She is honored to share her shine in Power Flow, LSDSweat, Slow Flow, Beats, Deep stretch, Mommy and Mini, Kids Yoga and Prenatal classes at Yoga One. Along with leading various workshops, trainings and masterclasses. Alyce also teaches Ballet and Modern classes at Charlotte Ballet and acts as a part of the Artistic board, an outreach leader, and Dancer for Moving Poets, Charlotte. You can catch Alyce dancing her way around Charlotte in professional settings and with her tribe. Alyce’s most powerful, inspiring and challenging role is Mama to her daughter, Amelia Jean. It is through the eyes of Amelia’s discovery and curiosity for the world that inspires Alyce to make everyday an adventure and full of LOVE!

Ian Grosh

A lifelong student of movement and self-expression, Ian came to yoga as a professional ballet dancer of more than a decade. “I believe that how you move is who you are, and yoga is a way through which explore, express, and expand who I am.”

As a teacher, Ian drives his classes forward with powerful physicality through precise alignment. Ian generates authentic connection, sparks fire, and brings lightness with his irreverent wit and colorful humor.
