When I'm not at the studio, you can find me: Researching and reading about health (especially gut health), curating instagram stories and content pertaining to health and wellness, running my other business-ask me about it! Hanging with my 2 rad girls and my rad husband, talking deep with a friend over coffee, cooking at home for my fam!
My Journey with Yoga One and Baptiste Yoga
My journey with Yoga One started back in the 1111 building on Central Ave. I had no idea what I was doing and I loved every minute of the experience. I was fully present to my body sensations, the sweat beads flowing down my face and back and the meditative state I was experiencing as I was moving my body.
I bought a yoga book at Barnes and Noble the next day and became committed to the process and experience of yoga. I could feel the holistic approach of the practice from the very beginning.
Almost 10 years later, I started working the front desk at Yoga One, became a part of the leadership team and took teacher training and started teaching a few months later. Not without some bumps in the road though and a huge need to GET OUT OF MY OWN WAY. Also, a willingness to be seen and stop playing small.
Teaching yoga has changed my life.
I am honored each time I am with y’all to be in the power of transformation, to be seen by you and see you, and to create something bigger than ourselves together. You are the reason I show up everyday! Thank you!
I am worthy.
My mantra: “Stay on your own mat” We are not here to compete with others, we are here to be on a journey of growth within ourselves.
Favorite treat: iced coffee on a hot day-maybe a baby dollop of whip cream on top, because you know, it’s delightful.
Favorite destination: Byron Bay, Australia the most amazing hippy, yoga town ever!
“Go with your gut!"
