I had my first studio practice in 2006, which was Bikram yoga. I tried it on for a few weeks, and it was cool, but it didn't quite fit what I was looking for.
My next stop was Yoga One, and I knew I had stumbled upon something special.
The community, the asana, and the growth I experienced took me on a journey that I'm still on to this day. I fell in love with this practice because it always provides an opportunity to experience the biggest and brightest parts of myself.
I took teacher training at Yoga One in the summer of 2010 and the experience was amazing!
I gained a deeper insight into myself and my practice, and I now get to share more of myself not only as a student, but also as a teacher.
I teach kids yoga, and give group and private yoga instruction as well. I instruct classes that create space for you to experience your inner teacher, for you to cultivate a healthy and mindful practice, and for you to be content with where you are on your path.
And when I'm not on practicing on my mat, I'm channeling yoga into other areas of my life. I'm creating living food and guiding others through the philosophy and art of organic living food preparation.
Yoga is such an integral part of the healthy lifestyle that I have embraced. It has infused me with a greater sense of alignment, wellness, mindfulness, and gratitude.
